EGG-citing Editing!

This month we are really 'cracking down' on adding improvments to our writing.  We know the things we should be editing for and we are looking for and correcting these things with a different colored pencil crayon at the end of each writer's workshop.  Students have also had the opportunity to edit some silly sentences that were hidden inside Easter eggs.  We had some great conversations about 'word choices' and how tricky the English language can be.  Please listen to the word choices your child makes.  If they use a word that doesn't 'sound right'....model the correct word choice when you repeat their words back.  Keep up the great editing everyone!
